Privacy Policy
This policy explains how JINSTEEL handles personal information when you visit this website or send a request for quotation. For privacy questions or requests about your data, email sales@jinsteel.com.
Effective date: 2026-08-12.
Information we collect
We may receive the information you submit in an RFQ: product, grade or alloy, standard, dimensions, surface or temper, quantity, destination, application, Incoterm, requested timing and notes.
We may also receive your name, company, business email, country, optional WhatsApp and phone details, attachments, source page and campaign parameters. For security and abuse prevention, we may process limited technical data, such as a network address used temporarily for verification and rate limiting.
Do not submit sensitive personal information or confidential or unnecessary files before we confirm an appropriate channel for your RFQ.
How we use personal information
- Review and respond to your RFQ and clarify technical or commercial requirements.
- Coordinate supply options, documents, inspection, packing and shipment when an inquiry progresses.
- Communicate about the requested quotation or resulting business relationship.
- Protect the form, prevent abuse and maintain reliable records.
- Meet applicable legal, accounting, regulatory or dispute-resolution obligations.
Depending on the context and applicable law, processing may rely on your consent, steps you request before a possible contract, legitimate security and recordkeeping interests, or legal obligations. Consent is not necessarily the only basis that applies to every activity.
Turnstile and providers
Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled to prevent form abuse. Cloudflare may receive limited browser, device, network and interaction signals to distinguish legitimate requests from automated ones; see https://www.cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy/.
Routine access is limited to authorized JINSTEEL personnel and administrators who need the information to handle the inquiry. Provider categories may include hosting, transactional email, private attachment storage, backup and security; they may process limited data to provide their services.
When necessary to progress your request, we may share relevant details with supply, inspection, logistics or professional-service parties. We may also disclose information when required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Retention
We keep inquiry data for the shortest necessary period to respond, manage a possible or active transaction, maintain required business records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it, subject to backup cycles and mandatory recordkeeping.
Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction and deletion of your personal information; restrict or object to certain uses; withdraw consent where processing depends on consent; or request a portable copy where applicable. Email sales@jinsteel.com. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity.
Specific rights vary by location. Where the law provides, you may also complain to a competent data-protection authority.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, but JINSTEEL cannot guarantee absolute security for any transmission or storage system.
Cookies and similar technology
We do not intentionally add advertising pixels or behavioral analytics, including advertising or behavioral-analytics cookies, and we do not add non-essential cookies. The site may use essential cookies or similar storage for operation, security and request handling.
Children and policy changes
This B2B website is not directed to children and should not be used to submit children’s personal information. If our practices change materially, we will update this policy and its effective date.
